Job Description
SCOPE:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manages/Oversees the building and all warehouse employees (Mangers, Supervisors, Employee, Drivers). Manages/Oversees daily operations of all warehouse duties. Set expectations, motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met. Recruite/ hire new employees as needed. Work with other functional business units, vendors, staff groups and customers. Design warehouse layout for product flow and product handling/processing Develops and assures all work procedures and policy are being followed by all employees Maintain a safe and healthy work environment Develops warehouse operation improvements to increase thru put and accuracy within the warehouse. Works with buyers and sales team on product movement with in the warehouse Overseas physical inventory and researches all variances Conducts random audits Manage and approve all employees time off Handles any HR issues working with HR department.Job Specific Competencies:
At least 1 year of warehouse management experience, preferably in a distribution/logistics/warehouse environment Experience in warehousing, inventory, and logistics management Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills Fluent with desktop computers and Microsoft Office productsWORKING RELATIONSHIPS
