Duties Supervise daily packing operations, ensuring timely and efficient processing of eggs while maintaining high quality standards Oversee equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, including welding, power tools, and farm machinery to minimize downtime Coordinate manual handling activities such as heavy lifting and the safe movement of eggs and supplies throughout the facility Enforce safety standards across all operations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, agricultural tractors, irrigation systems, and other farm machinery with precision and care Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations Lead a team of workers by providing supervision, training in animal care, equipment use, and safety procedures to promote a productive work environment Qualifications Proven supervising experience in food production settings with strong leadership capabilities Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance of farm machinery, welding skills, and use of hand tools and power tools Familiarity with safety standards in production environments as well as heavy lifting and manual handling procedures Basic math skills for inventory management and operational calculations; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Strong understanding of irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, and general farm maintenance practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during routine inspections or repairs Join us as an Egg Packing Facility Manager where your expertise will directly impact our productivity while fostering a safe and sustainable environment.
