A Facilities Manager manages the facilities of a company or organization, including buildings and grounds, equipment, supplies and staff. Oversees maintenance and security of facilities; oversees renovation projects and monitors work to improve energy efficiency, productivity or employee safety. May work in manufacturing and production, or manage hotels, small apartment buildings, trailer parks or recreational facilities.

Job Description
Objectives for this role include:
Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as production floor, offices, conference rooms, and parking lots Performing routine maintenance on facilities and equipment and making repairs as needed Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions Collaborating with building owners and management on budgeting for facilities needs Skills and qualifications: Advanced mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks Ability to troubleshoot and address the root causes of issues Excellent time management and multitasking skills Great leadership and problem-solving skills Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent, preferred Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets Excellent verbal and written communication skills Contract handling experience Strong attention to detailJob Type:
