Job Description
The Administrative Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in company databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems. This position provides administrative support to ensure records are complete, accurate, and organized while assisting with day-to-day office operations. Key Responsibilities Enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems with a high degree of accuracy. Review documents and records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Verify information and identify discrepancies or missing data. Maintain organized electronic and paper files. Process invoices, forms, reports, applications, and other administrative documents. Perform data cleanup, auditing, and routine quality-control checks. Generate basic reports and spreadsheets as requested. Scan, copy, file, and organize documents. Respond to internal requests for information and administrative assistance. Assist with email correspondence, scheduling, and general office support as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information. Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. 1-3 years of administrative, data entry, or office experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn and navigate databases and software systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills Fast and accurate typing/data entry skills. Experience with CRM, ERP, accounting, or database systems. Intermediate Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas. Strong problem-solving and follow-through. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
