Job Description
We are actively seeking a committed Facilities Assistant to join our team, collaborating with the Facilities Manager to maintain and enhance our facilities. Our goal is to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, families, guardians, guests, and staff. As a Facilities Assistant, your role will encompass a diverse range of routine building maintenance and repairs. This on-call position requires flexibility in working hours, occasionally extending after 5 pm and weekends to address maintenance needs. What You Will Do as a
Facilities Assistant:
Ensure and safeguard C.C.I. consumers' human dignity, rights, and liberties. Support the Facility Manager in basic repairs and maintenance tasks, including painting, repairs to interior and exterior surfaces, and installation of facility components. Maintain tools and supplies as assigned by the Facility Manager. Supervise and monitor contractors, ensuring high standards of quality, timeliness, and adherence to the budget. Effectively use the organization's maintenance system (currently MaintainX). Procure necessary supplies from designated vendors at reasonable prices as directed by the Facility Manager. What You'll Need as aFacilities Assistant:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and an acceptable background check. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, climb ladders, and use power/manual tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Prior experience in facility maintenance, especially in basic plumbing, paint and related preparation, carpentry, and the use of office equipment and tools. Who You Are as aFacilities Assistant:
