As a Facilities Supervisor, you are the driving force behind the smooth operation and upkeep of our property. Your leadership ensures that buildings, grounds, and critical systems remain safe, efficient, and fully functional. By coordinating daily maintenance activities, managing preventative programs, and overseeing contractors and vendors, you'll help deliver an exceptional environment for guests and team members. Your ability to lead, prioritize, and maintain high standards will make a lasting impact on the success of Live! Casino and Hotel.Shift:
Overnight 11pm-8am Responsibilities Where You'll Make anImpact:
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance and regulatory inspections Coach maintenance staff to develop skills for team member development. Operates the central utility plant which includes duel-fuel boilers, centrifugal chillers, medium voltage switchgear and diesel generators. Coordinates small projects scheduling with other departments and vendors as needed. Regularly performs inspections to identify areas of need and addresses them with team members. Track material and parts stock. Other duties as assigned. Skills toHelp You Succeed:
Knowledge of Casino and/or Food Service operations. Outstanding guest service skills in person and over the phone. Ability to manage subordinate team members and interact and develop outstanding working relationships with members of the Casino departments / restaurant outlets and the Executive Team. Must be able to use a 10-key adding machine, fax, scanner and be proficient with Microsoft Office and department specific programs. Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and resultsQualifications Must-Haves:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Three (3) years' experience in leading or supervising facility maintenance staff. Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.Physical Requirements:
Ability to: Stand or sit for long periods of time. Use hands and fingers to handle, feel and reach. Use legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Use of stairs and elevatorsWorking Conditions:
24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees. Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
