Position Overview:

Futron is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee facility operations, maintenance, space planning, and systems coordination. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant facilities while supporting operations through data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily facility operations, including offices, equipment, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security).
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, service requests, and vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and industry standards.
  • Conduct facility inspections and resolve maintenance and safety issues.
  • Manage vendor contracts (janitorial, landscaping, security).
  • Oversee facility budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Lead space planning, utilization, relocations, and office reconfigurations.
  • Manage space and furniture requests; coordinate site visits and installations.
  • Partner with CADD teams on space layouts and furniture design.
  • Coordinate personnel moves, ensuring proper planning and funding.
  • Maintain and manage IBONS system (Space, Work Requests, Furniture, P-Card modules).
  • Track and report on work requests, space utilization, and furniture requests.
  • Ensure P-Card transactions are properly documented and linked to work requests.
  • Support system improvements, testing, and user functionality updates.
  • Provide reporting and analytics (data collection, modeling, performance metrics).
  • Prepare briefings and support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Support meetings (scheduling, coordination, notes, action tracking).
  • Communicate with project managers on task status and required actions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of facilities management or related experience.
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security).
  • Experience with facility management systems (IBONS preferred).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
Additional Information:

This position requires a Secret level security clearance.
