A Facilities Manager manages the facilities of a company or organization, including buildings and grounds, equipment, supplies and staff. Oversees maintenance and security of facilities; oversees renovation projects and monitors work to improve energy efficiency, productivity or employee safety. May work in manufacturing and production, or manage hotels, small apartment buildings, trailer parks or recreational facilities.
The Leader on Duty (LOD) provides on-site leadership and support during weekend operations. This role ensures a welcoming and safe environment for members and staff, assists with facility monitoring, and serves as the primary point of contact for staff questions, member needs, and emergencies when other leadership staff are not present. This position requires a highly experienced professional with demonstrated success managing complex and high-risk situations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable responding to mental health crises, substance use-related incidents, behavioral emergencies, and other situations involving escalated or aggressive behavior. Strong de-escalation skills, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to maintain safety while providing support are essential. Candidates should possess experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and crisis situations. Background check and OCFS fingerprinting required as applicable. Frequent walking/rounds; standing for extended periods. Occasional lifting up to 25-40 lbs; light cleaning or hazard mitigation as needed. Dynamic environment with frequent public interaction.
