Responsible for Hannah Community Center reservations, the Facility Reservation Specialist coordinates facility rentals for internal and external customers, communicates with guests about their reservation and setup needs, conducts facility tours, manages contracts and invoices, and supports room and A/V setup as needed. Additional responsibilities may include seasonal reservations for Patriarche Park Pavilion
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates all details of facility rentals and reservation planning for internal and external customers. Communicates reservation and setup needs to internal and external stakeholders. Conducts facility tours for prospective customers. Manages rental contracts and invoices. Assists in marketing and promoting the facility venues. Assists in arrangement and setups of A/V equipment and rooms, as needed. Supports events for additional Parks and Recreation and Arts divisions as required. Provides general oversight of contract custodial employees, as it pertains to reservations and setup. Performs related work as required. Non-Union Qualifications Associate's degree or 2 Years of College in Hospitality, Communications, or Business; 1 to 3 years of experience in hospitality, facility management, or event planning and coordination. Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted. Ability to obtain SERV Safe Certification is required. Special Requirements This position may be exposed to outdoor environments in possible inclement weather conditions. May be exposed to elevated noise levels.
