Main Campus General Summary Serve as the facility operations and maintenance point of contact for the George Gervin GameAbove (G3) Center. Manage event operations for special and external events in the G3 Center. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the facility operations and maintenance point of contact for the G3 Center. Direct and coordinate all event operations for special and external events hosted in the G3 Center. Manage the day-to-day operations of the G3 Center. Manage the daily schedules and supply orders of the custodial crews at all athletic facilities. Help develop a comprehensive facilities master plan for the division of athletics. Hire, train and supervise staff and students on all aspects of event operations and facility management. Adhere to any and all NCAA, Mid-American Conference and Eastern Michigan University policies, rules, regulations and operational procedures. Perform related departmental duties, as required.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years directly-related experience involving athletic facilities and event operations management is required. Two years of sound, lighting and video equipment experience is necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Working knowledge of University and NCAA rules and regulations is required. Must be able to work flexible hours including night and weekends. Ability to do heavy lifting is necessary.Preferred Qualifications:
