Recreation Facilities Manager - Burnsville

The Recreation Facilities Manager oversees operations for the Burnsville Ice Center, Burnsville Lions Skate Park, city-wide concession stands, and special events. This role plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates facility operations while serving as a key member of the Parks, Recreation, and Facilities leadership team. The Manager cultivates relationships with the community, user groups, vendors, and staff, acting as a city liaison to ensure diverse perspectives are valued. Responsibilities include strategic planning, implementing sustainable practices, promoting services, and preparing capital improvement plans to meet evolving community needs. The ideal candidate brings a bachelor's degree in Recreation or a related field (or equivalent experience), at least three years of supervisory experience in parks, recreation, or recreation facilities, and a commitment to high-quality service in a local government setting. This exempt position has a starting salary of $107,827.20, depending on experience.
