Recreation Facilities Manager Salary $107,827.20 - $134,472.00 Annually Location Ice Center Burnsville, MN Job Type Full-Time Job Number 2026-00413 Department Community Operations Division Division Parks, Recreation & Facilities - Ice Center Department Opening Date 03/25/2026 Closing Date 4/12/2026 11:59 PM Central Description Benefits Questions Position Details The Recreation Facilities Manager oversees operations for the Burnsville Ice Center, Burnsville Lions Skate Park, special events, and citywide concession stand operations. This role involves developing strategies to plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate operations. The Recreation Facilities Manager will also serve as a key member of the Recreation and Facilities leadership team. Our Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Department is a team of dedicated professionals committed to providing high-quality parks, maintaining facilities, and delivering recreation programs and events that enrich our community. We strive to create excellent spaces, places, events, and activities for both residents and visitors to enjoy. This exempt position has a starting salary of $107,827.20, depending on experience. How you'll use your strengths every day The Recreation Facilities Manager values people and perspectives by: Cultivates and develops relationships with the community, ice center users, vendors, and staff. Serves as a city liaison to various user groups, associations, and non-profit organizations, ensuring community perspectives are understood and valued. They are on the leading edge when they: Collaborates in the strategic planning, development, and implementation of facility services. Promotes and delivers services through sustainable practices and responsible use of resources. And they expect the best by: Developing and maintaining strong communication between the community, vendors, and staff. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Recreation or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in managing an ice center. Three or more years of supervisory experience in a parks and recreation department, ice center, or recreation facility.
