Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the position. Conduct comprehensive facility condition assessments of commercial and industrial facilities, including the evaluation of building systems, equipment, infrastructure, and asset life cycles to identify deficiencies, maintenance needs, safety risks, and capital improvement opportunities. Document inspection findings using field notes, photographs, measurements, and other supporting information. Prepare clear, professional reports that include prioritized findings and recommendations. Develop facility condition reports that clearly communicate assessment findings, priorities, risks, and recommended next steps. Assist with the development of scopes of work, estimates, and customer proposals. Coordinate with operations, estimating, project management, engineering, and service teams to develop effective customer solutions. Collaborate with Account Managers and cross-functional teams, including operations, estimating, engineering, project management, and service personnel, to develop and deliver customer-focused solutions. Build and maintain positive customer relationships through responsive communication, support of customer satisfaction, and identification of opportunities to expand services. Maintain accurate inspection, asset, customer, and opportunity information within company software and CRM systems. Monitor customer satisfaction and provide follow-up support after assessments, proposals, and project completion. Perform all work in accordance with company safety policies and procedures while representing the Company in a professional manner consistent with Jamar's Mission, Vision, and Values. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support company programs, and perform other related duties as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.Required Education & Experience:
Experience in commercial roofing, HVAC, plumbing, building automation systems, facilities management, construction, property management, building maintenance, or a related field, is preferred. Demonstrated ability to evaluate, assess, and accurately document the condition of building systems and facility assets. Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Proficient and comfortable using iPads, computers, and mobile technology in a field-based environment. Ability to learn and utilize inspection, reporting, proposal, and CRM software platforms. Experience developing reports, scopes of work, estimates, or customer recommendations is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is preferred.Other Details:
This position will office in Duluth, MN. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites. Compensation & Benefits:
The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $25.30- 37.
