Camp Olson YMCA, a premier resident camp in the heart of Minnesota's Northwoods, is seeking a skilled, mission-driven Facility Director to join our leadership team. For over 70 years, Camp Olson has inspired youth and families through outdoor adventure, character development, and lifelong friendships, welcoming up to 200 resident campers from around the world each session. The Facility Director oversees the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all buildings, grounds, trails, vehicles, boats, and equipment across our 1,350-acre property, with assets valued at over $15 million. Reporting to the CEO/Executive Director, this full-time, year-round position develops seasonal maintenance schedules and long-term capital improvement plans, supervises seasonal maintenance staff and contractors, manages the facilities budget, and ensures all facilities meet state and ACA accreditation standards. Working closely with program staff, the Facility Director makes sure camp's infrastructure supports high-quality programming and reflects our commitment to safety, sustainability, and stewardship. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or a related field, strong carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills, and a passion for serving youth. Qualifications:

Required:

5+ years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred. Strong hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. Demonstrated ability to manage projects, budgets, staff, and contractors effectively. Ability to work non-traditional hours, including long days, weekends, and holidays. Age 21 or older with a valid driver's license. Ability to pass a background check. Personal values consistent with the YMCA's mission of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Preferred:

Knowledge of ACA standards and familiarity with YMCA camping. Experience with water systems, septic systems, or waterfront equipment. Supervisory experience with seasonal or young adult staff.
