Job Title:
Maintenance Engineer Job Description This position is responsible for assisting in the repair of facility equipment. This role is developmental and will continue to learn and assist more experienced facility technicians in multiple work assignments. Responsibilities Install and remove office furniture. Maintain maintenance records for facilities related projects. Repair flooring and walls as necessary. Assist with plumbing installation and maintenance. Assist with airline installation and maintenance. Assist with the installation of ductwork. Complete painting projects as necessary. Change air filters inside and outside of rooms. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as checking oil, inspecting wear parts, air filters, etc. Comply with company safety practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience as a maintenance technician or maintenance mechanic. Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance. Proficiency in troubleshooting. Understanding of pneumatics and preventive maintenance. Repair skills, including PLCs and fabrication. Knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems. Experience in PLC troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma orGED. 0-3
years of experience in a facilities maintenance role. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes areas with varying noise levels, requiring hearing protection. Some tasks will be performed in a cleanroom environment where gowns, hairnets, and other protective attire are necessary. Jewelry and cell phones are not permitted on the production floor. The facility has a distinct fruit smell due to the handling of fruit-flavored powders. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
