About theRole:
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead and oversee maintenance and repair operations at a single community installation. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, team performance, and high levels of resident satisfaction through effective leadership and strategic planning.Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day maintenance operations, including staff supervision, financial tracking, employee development, and customer service delivery Conduct routine property inspections to maintain quality standards and ensure all assets are properly maintained Anticipate maintenance requirements and implement scheduling strategies to maximize team efficiency and timely project completion Support and participate in community engagement initiatives and company-sponsored events as needed Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team aligned with organizational goals Collaborate with military leadership and internal project teams to evaluate and enhance maintenance programs and performance metrics Monitor budgets, analyze operational data, and partner with leadership to ensure financial and service targets are achieved Review and improve operational procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness Develop and implement updated maintenance policies that promote safety, service quality, and operational standardsQualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities or property management Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor/bid management Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with Yardi is a plus Familiarity with OSHA regulations, building codes, and environmental compliance standards (Hazmat, EPA, Universal Waste) preferred HVAC Universal Certification is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record requiredEEO Policy:
