Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse - Unit Manager to lead our skilled nursing facility (SNF) team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily patient care operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a positive environment for residents and staff alike. Your leadership will drive quality care delivery, promote teamwork, and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice. Duties Provide expert supervision and coordination of nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care aligned with facility policies and healthcare standards. Oversee comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform individualized care plans. Manage medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheterization, tube feeding, and other complex clinical tasks with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Ensure accurate medical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems; maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Experience Valid RN/LPN license with current registration; prior supervisory or nurse management experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is required. Demonstrated expertise in medical-surgical nursing, geriatrics, dementia care, and acute pain management. Strong background in patient assessment techniques including vital signs monitoring, injection administration, and sterile technique. Leadership skills demonstrated through supervising nursing staff; ability to foster teamwork and professional development within the unit.
