Job Description

Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping throughout assigned areas of the facility. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces as needed. Clean and sanitize breakrooms, restrooms, common areas, offices, conference rooms, and other assigned spaces. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners. Clean doors, windows, countertops, tables, appliances, fixtures, and other high-touch surfaces. Monitor restrooms and common areas throughout the workday and address cleanliness issues promptly. Identify spills, hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns and report them to the appropriate manager. Assist with maintaining entrances and other employee and visitor areas in a clean and professional condition. Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms, employee events, training areas, and other company functions. Support minor facility-related projects and organizational needs as assigned. Follow established safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies. Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report repair or replacement needs. Respond promptly to housekeeping or facility-related requests. Maintain appropriate security and confidentiality when working in offices and employee workspaces. Perform other related duties as assigned. Previous housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, hospitality, facilities, or similar experience preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to prioritize tasks and respond appropriately to changing facility needs. Ability to communicate professionally with employees, managers, vendors, and visitors. Basic understanding of safe cleaning practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals preferred. The Facilities & Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming workplace for employees and visitors. This position performs routine housekeeping duties throughout the facility, maintains and stocks employee breakroom areas, monitors facility supplies, and assists with general facility needs. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean workplace, pays close attention to detail, works independently, and consistently provides reliable support to the organization.
