Operations and Facilities Manager - Missoula Interfaith Collaborative & Missoula Works About Us Missoula Interfaith Collaborative (MIC) is a growing network of 32 congregations working together with nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community members to address some of Missoula's most pressing challenges. MIC brings people and organizations together to move beyond simply responding to community problems toward building practical, collaborative solutions. At Missoula Works (a program of MIC), we operate at the unique intersection of community and commerce. We are a supportive staffing agency that hires Missoulians facing barriers to employment and housing into our Get It Done (GID) Crew—a professional lawn mowing, property maintenance, and snow removal business serving local businesses and residences. We don't just complete jobs; we build people, develop leaders, and create positive community change. The Role We are seeking a reliable, organized, and community-minded Operations & Facilities Manager to lead our GID Crew and coordinate our local facility. This is a unique hybrid role for someone who loves being out in the field leading a crew, but also has the strong administrative skills needed to keep business operations and facility logistics running smoothly. You will be a key leader, mentor, and champion within our trauma-informed support programs—meaning your day starts not just with logistics, but with morning check-ins, morning meetings, and active mentorship of crew members working hard to rebuild their lives.
What You'll Do Field Operations:
Manage daily job scheduling, truck routing, and crew deployments for seasonal lawn care, snow removal, and contracted maintenance projects.
Customer Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for residential and commercial customers from the initial quote/bid through to 24-hour job invoicing.
Facilities & Safety:
Act as the on-site point of contact for our leased building (handling routine upkeep and landlord coordination), enforce field safety regulations, and manage frontline incident reporting.
Equipment Maintenance:
Manage, guide, and complete routine servicing checklists for commercial machinery and company vehicles. What We Are Looking For 1+ years of leadership experience in commercial landscaping, property maintenance, basic facility upkeep, or a related trade. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work respectfully and compassionately alongside individuals from diverse racial, cultural, economic, and personal backgrounds. Solid administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word/Excel) and the ability to manage time-sensitive invoicing, logistics routing, and incident reporting paperwork. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
