Job Description
Associate Vice President of Facilities Salary $99,000.00
- $113,850.
- Plan, manage, and oversee all phases of construction projects, from inception to completion, ensuring that objectives are achieved within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop detailed project plans and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints.
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial compliance.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Monitor construction progress and quality, conducting regular site visits to ensure work meets design specifications, safety codes, and building standards.
- Address project issues, risks, or changes to scope by developing mitigation strategies and coordinating necessary approvals.
- Ensure projects meet all legal and regulatory requirements, including permitting, zoning, and safety regulations. Facilities Management
- Oversee maintenance and improvement projects for existing facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
- Develop and implement long-term facilities management plans, including preventative maintenance schedules and capital improvement projects.
- Coordinate with operations, safety, and other departments to ensure facilities meet current and future business needs.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for building services, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, and security services.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all facilities.
- Monitor and address facility-related emergencies, such as mechanical failures or weather-related damage. Communication and Reporting
- Serve as the main point of contact between project stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and internal departments.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior leadership, highlighting progress, budget status, and any significant risks or issues.
- Ensure that all documentation, such as project schedules, budgets, change orders, and contracts, is accurately maintained and up to date.
- Provide technical guidance and support to teams involved in facilities and construction-related activities.
