As a Fleet & Facility Manager , you will be the driving force behind the daily operation of our fleet and facility. You will ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively, keeping our environment safe, functional, and welcoming. You'll troubleshoot issues and implement preventive measures to enhance facility performance as needed. Essential Functions/Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of facilities & fleet vehicles/trailers to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety standards. Perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities. Manage projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, coordinating with contractors and vendors as necessary. Clean areas as needed pre & post facility tours. Troubleshoot and repair basic truck issues, trailer issues and assist in the yard as needed. Install Camera's & GPS in trucks. Utilize Motive App to track Eletronic Logs for DOT regulation. Work closely with Dispatch to understand load sheets, track equipment from jobsite to jobsite and send out weekly tracking sheets to operations. Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, changing air filters routinely. Strong organizational skills and communication skills. Drive fleet vehicles as needed to help with local tasks. Work Environment The role involves frequent movement between indoor and outdoor areas, exposure to varying temperatures, and occasional work at heights or in confined spaces. The position requires physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. The work environment is collaborative, with regular interaction with multiple parties. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Minimal travel, support local efforts in Charlotte. Potential travel here int he Southeast as we have offices in Charleston & Atlanta.
