Job Description

Preferred Energy Ltd. is seeking experienced Facility Construction Supervisors to support our growing oilfield construction operations in Williston and throughout the Bakken. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for coordinating field crews, equipment, materials and daily construction activities.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have: Strong field measuring and construction layout skills The ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints Knowledge and practical experience in piping design Extensive oilfield facility construction experience Previous supervisory, foreman or crew-lead experience Applicants without experience in measuring, blueprint reading and piping design will not be considered for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and coordinate facility construction crews Plan daily work activities and assign crew responsibilities Review blueprints, specifications and construction packages Complete and verify field measurements and piping layouts Assist with piping design and resolve field installation issues Oversee piping, structural and equipment installation Coordinate equipment, materials, subcontractors and project requirements Monitor productivity, workmanship and project schedules Complete daily reports, time sheets and field documentation Communicate project progress, delays and material requirements Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce company and client safety requirements Ensure work meets required quality and construction standards Mentor employees and help develop productive field crews

Strong leadership, organization and communication skills Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions in the field Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong commitment to safety, quality and accountability Valid driver's licence Ability to work outdoors and travel to project locations as required
