We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Technician to join our team in the Facilities Management. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for minor renovation projects, will implement interim life safety measures for minor projects, as well as ICRA barriers for ILSM, within Regional West Health Services and its associated facilities. Your work will directly impact the quality of care we provide to our patients and the overall success of our organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent requiredValid motor vehicle operator's license required
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years construction experience including sheetrock work, installation of ceiling grids along with metal stud walls, with experience in 1-2 hour barrier walls for projects.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities:
Demolition of walls, ceilings, flooring (to include floor and carpet) doors hardwareEvaluate sheetrock demolition for access for plumbing clean outs and access to HVAC ductwork Skills including patching drywall, cover base, trim work and minor painting, repairs to floor tile, and ceiling titleCollaborate to assist with the installation and repairs of fire doors, smoke doors, door hardware to include locks and keysA conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks. A Physical Capacity Profile may be required for some positions.
