Schedule and manage daily activities across the facility; respond to urgent and long-term maintenance needs. Perform and oversee repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical (high and low voltage), cultivation systems, and general building infrastructure. Develop and utilize a digital management system to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules. Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance logs, and equipment performance. Conduct regular facility inspections to identify areas needing repair or improvement. Oversee and self-perform capital improvement projects, facility renovations, upgrades, and expansions. Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and industry regulations. Maintain functioning security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control, and alarms. Train and supervise internal staff, technicians, and contractors; establish SOPs and enforce safety protocols. Manage inventory of packaging materials, tools, uniforms, and other critical supplies. Support order fulfillment operations, including pulling and verifying outgoing deliveries. Provide 24/7 on-call emergency response as part of a facility leadership rotation. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in facility operations, construction, or maintenance of commercial, industrial, or production buildings. Minimum 12 months of supervisory or administrative experience, including managing vendors, contractors, or in-house teams. Strong knowledge of industrial systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical (high/low voltage), and environmental controls. Experience with CMMS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Drive. Comfortable reading technical diagrams, using voltmeters, and troubleshooting logic controllers and electrical systems. Background in industrial or agricultural production environments strongly preferred. Indoor cannabis cultivation facility experience is a major plus. Ability to lift 50 lb and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, sweeping, and climbing ladders. Ability to fabricate or modify components for repair or installation work. Strong project management and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and to respond to after-hours emergencies. Willingness to use a personal smartphone (with security compliance) for internal communications and operations software.
