A Facilities Manager manages the facilities of a company or organization, including buildings and grounds, equipment, supplies and staff. Oversees maintenance and security of facilities; oversees renovation projects and monitors work to improve energy efficiency, productivity or employee safety. May work in manufacturing and production, or manage hotels, small apartment buildings, trailer parks or recreational facilities.
The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. A Typical Day Supply chain facility managers are responsible for implementing, measuring, and directing all supply chain activities for distribution services including but not limited to perpetual inventory, receiving, distribution and warehouse when applicable within the facility under the direction of the site supply chain director SSCD. Collaborates with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure supply needs are met in the most efficient and cost-effective manner Primary contact for vendors regarding vendor performance, concern resolutions and standardization Ensures supervision is always on site to support the team Attire should be business appropriate Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, training, and initiatives Manages facility supply chain staff and operations in receiving, distribution, linen, warehouse, storeroom, and other areas as assigned Collaborates with the site supply chain director to ensure all performance metrics are met or exceeded Identifies cost savings opportunities and presents them to the site supply chain director and clinical resource director for consideration Conducts documented daily and monthly rounding and audits for survey readiness relevant to RWJBH, DOH and TJC standards Ensures that all actionable findings are addressed timely Acts as a subject matter expert SME for special projects, including training support in the various systems Responsible for identifying and reporting safety concerns, medical errors, device malfunction, and facility damage walls, ceiling tiles, etc. This Role Might Be For You If..
