Job Description
Schedule Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, 9:00am-6:00pm, 11:00am-9:00pm, 1:00pm-11:00pm Salary $45,000-$67,500 based on experience What is the opportunity? Foundation Academies is seeking a Facilities Associate to help maintain safe, clean, and fully operational school environments across multiple campuses. This hands-on role includes general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry), preventative maintenance, and support for school events, setups, and urgent facility needs. The ideal candidate is a dependable, solutions-oriented team player who takes pride in hands-on work and contributing to a positive school environment. Experience in facilities, construction, or skilled trades is preferred. What is in it for you? Completing day-to-day maintenance and repair work across multiple school campuses to ensure safe, clean, and fully operational buildings Troubleshooting and repairing building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general facility needs Responding to and resolving work order requests in a timely and professional manner, with a focus on minimizing disruption to school operations Performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate Supporting campus operations by setting up classrooms, event spaces, assemblies, and school-wide activities, including furniture and equipment moves Assisting with urgent facility needs, emergency situations, and weather-related preparedness or response as needed Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, organized, and compliant condition Collaborating with school leaders, staff, custodial teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth daily operations across campuses What do we require from you? High school diploma or equivalent Experience in facilities maintenance, construction, building operations, or a skilled trade preferred Basic knowledge of general repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, or similar work) Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical, hands-on work throughout the day Strong reliability, urgency, and commitment to completing work in a timely and high-quality manner Ability to use basic technology, including email and work order systems Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset when working with staff and school communities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred/required depending on site needs) Want to join our FAmily?
