A servant leader who oversees all aspects of building operations for our Liquid Church Passaic County location. The Facilities Coordinator reports to the Campus Manager and also has dotted line reporting to the Facilities Director. The Campus Manager provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, scheduling, and performance management to ensure facility operations support the ministry priorities of the campus. The Facilities Director provides technical leadership by establishing facility standards, maintenance expectations, preventative maintenance plans, vendor standards, safety procedures, and long-term facility improvements. The Facilities Director also provides training, technical coaching, and support to ensure consistency across all Liquid Church campuses. The schedule includes providing facility readiness for Sunday and other events and coordinating campus maintenance and repairs for a total of 14 hours per week. The scheduled hours are primarily on Sunday and some Tuesday meeting attendance. The other hours are flexible. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Responsibilities The campus Facilities Coordinator (FC) is responsible for the following areas in order of priority. 1. Leadership Rhythm The Campus Manager, Facilities Coordinator, and Facilities Director will meet together monthly to review priorities, responsibilities, coaching, performance, upcoming projects, and overall facility operations. The Campus Manager and Facilities Coordinator will have a brief weekly touchpoint to review upcoming ministry activities, facility readiness, and execution priorities for the week. The Facilities Coordinator and Facilities Director will connect as needed to provide technical guidance, coordinate maintenance and repair projects, discuss vendors, and address facility-specific issues. 1. Facility Readiness Cleaning- With a combination of volunteers and outside vendors, the building is to be cleaned for Sunday services and other events. Leading volunteer facilities team set-up and tear-down. Setting up of any elements, seating, and stage elements in preparation for Sunday services and other events as necessary. Readiness templates
- The FC completes a Sunday Readiness Checklist weekly and a Safety Review Template at least monthly.
