Job Description:
The Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining building systems, equipment, and facility operations to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient site environment. Job Summary
  • Manage, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot building equipment and machinery, including HVAC and temperature control systems.
  • Maintain the Preventive Maintenance schedule by ensuring all PMs, audits, and inspections are completed on time and reflected in the work order system.
  • Co-lead the facilities work order management system to ensure actions are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs, equipment installation, and facility upgrades.
  • Partner with the HSE team to drive HSE protocols and policies across the organization.
  • Support space planning and layout creation activities for the Operations team.
  • Participate in and report out on planned and ongoing projects, attending project review meetings to track progress and address challenges.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 or more years of experience in one or more of the following fields: engineering, energy, cleanroom, specialty gas, mechanical contracting, facility management, or contractor management
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and flexibility to work evenings and weekends with limited notice
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in electronics, industrial, mechanical, or facilities maintenance
  • HVAC, Low Voltage, Electrical, or Mechanical certifications
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, environmental health and safety guidelines, and local building and fire codes
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude with the ability to analyze and apply new information and concepts
