Job Description
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a commercial real estate portfolio. You will manage building systems, vendors, maintenance programs, and budget performance to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant facilities. Responsibilities include leading on-site staff, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance, supporting capital projects, and ensuring safety and sustainability standards. You will partner with clients to optimize building performance, analyze operational data, implement process improvements, and support technology-enabled facility management solutions across assigned properties. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of assigned commercial buildings and facilities Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems Supervise on-site staff, service partners, and vendors Monitor operating budgets, service contracts, and cost-saving initiatives Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Coordinate repairs and support capital improvement and fit-out projects Track KPIs, analyze building performance data, and implement improvements Partner with clients to align facility operations with business needs Support sustainability initiatives and energy management programs Leverage technology and CMMS tools to streamline facility workflows Required Skills Facilities operations management Vendor and contract management Budgeting and cost control Preventive and corrective maintenance planning Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems Regulatory and safety compliance Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Building automation systems (BAS) Data analysis and KPI tracking Project coordination and capital planning
