Labor (3) Shift Hours Hours will vary based on operational needs. Brief Job Description This is a continuous recruitment posting to fill current and future temporary part-time or full-time positions. Perform a variety of routine manual tasks, requiring medium to heavy physical effort, to assist in maintaining, constructing, and repairing buildings, roads, offices, other structures, furniture, facilities, and grounds. May also assist in operations by performing routine activities requiring limited or no training, such as taking tickets and giving directions, using a forklift, pallet jacks, power tools, dollies, and hand trucks.
Duties may include:
maintaining grounds, roadways, waterways, and trails; assist skilled and semi-skilled trades workers by performing the more routine manual tasks of trade; moving materials to and from work sites; operating and maintaining motorized equipment and machinery; assist in operations by performing routine, repetitive activities; assemble furniture based on blueprints or schematics; move heavy supplies, furniture, and equipment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. If you currently need sponsorship or will need it in the future to maintain employment authorization, you do not meet eligibility requirements. Salary = $17.35/hourly Required Qualifications There are no education or experience qualifications for this class. Applicants must be physically able to perform the duties assigned and carry out written and oral instruction. When required to operate motor vehicles, candidates must possess a valid New York State Driver License appropriate for the type of vehicle operated.
