Facilities Assistant
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma Demonstrates ability to work with Head Facilities Manager as a supportive team member with good interpersonal skills Demonstrate ability to follow directives and to take initiative for tasks Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of school facilities management Demonstrates mechanical ability with a basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical problems Ability to perform custodial duties, e.g. daily general cleaning, sweeping, mopping, refuse collection Exhibits capable light carpentry skills Demonstrates knowledge of fire alarm system and safety laws and proper handling of hazardous materials In good health and able to meet the demands of the position Successfully completes required criminal history check and has proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
