Position Summary We seek a hardworking and committed part-time Sexton to care for our campus, ensuring that all spaces are clean, safe, and ready for use. A successful candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, a can-do attitude, and a high degree of adaptability and flexibility when it comes to the variety of challenges associated with managing a large, historic building. Key Responsibilities Cleaning of all church spaces and facility restrooms Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs Set up and break down for worship services and parish events Monitor building systems and coordinate with contractors Maintain grounds, entrances, and seasonal needs Ensure building security, opening and closing as needed Other duties as assigned within the reasonable scope of like positions Preferred Qualifications Experience in facilities, maintenance, and custodial work Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently Basic knowledge of building systems and repair Physical ability to lift, move, and set up equipment Willingness to work a consistent afternoon schedule week-to-week and be on-call for very occasional off-hours campus needs Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
