Job Description
Garden School is seeking a dependable, service-oriented, and self-motivated member of our Night & Weekend Campus & Facilities team to help ensure campus remains safe, clean, welcoming, and operational outside of school hours. This position plays an essential role in supporting evening and weekend activities, community rentals, athletic events, and special programs while maintaining the security and appearance of campus. The ideal candidate is proactive, enjoys working independently, has strong customer service skills, and takes pride in maintaining a first-class educational environment. Responsibilities include monitoring campus, light maintenance, and interfacing with renters. You will be asked to perform light maintenance and repairs (light bulbs, adjusting furniture, changing filters, minor painting, setting up and breaking down events, assisting with custodial needs). In addition, throughout the shift, you will monitor campus entrances and ensure only authorized individuals enter, conduct regular rounds to ensure security and safety, respond appropriately to emergencies, alarms, or security concerns. As primary on-site representative for organizations renting facilities we expect you to welcome clients and assist with access, provide exceptional customer service and ensure renters comply with policies. This position is primarily scheduled during evenings and weekends, with hours varying based on school events, facility rentals, athletic competitions, performances, and seasonal programming.
