Junior Facilities Assistant The Building People life insurance, paid time off, long term disability, 401(k), retirement plan Sep 09, 2026 The Junior Facilities Assistant will complete daily, weekly and monthly reports utilizing the building automation systems (BAS) of customers located in Kings Point, NY. Interact with various systems to complete reports on actual conditions, environmental conditions, and HVAC systems. Timely reporting of conditional issues outside of normal operating parameters. Responsibilities/Duties Monitor and dispatch appropriate personnel to Building Equipment Alarms, Critical system alarms, and Life Safety alarms across the campus using defined procedures.

Receive and dispatch priority service calls using defined procedures.

Take calls from designated customer management and dispatch appropriate personnel to respond to issues described using the work order management system (MAXIMO).

Maintain Daily logs for work being done affecting Building Equipment across the campus. Maintain Daily logs for alarms handled dealing with critical system items.

Monitor and respond to device communication issues across BAS and other critical infrastructure systems.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Network communications Annual Compensation will be between $50-60k/yr

  • Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications.
