- must be able to operate chainsaws, brush saws and most hand and power tools
- may be required to operate snowmobiles and all terrain vehicles as necessary
- overnight stays at one of the interior outposts maybe required
- basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical is helpful
- must adhere to all safety protocols
- must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- must be able to utilize snowshoes and skis for winter travel
- experience with map and compass, land navigation and wilderness travel is desirable Minimum QualificationsOne year of service as a Facility Operations Assistant 1 or Motor Vehicle Operator; OR, two years of full-time, verifiable experience in custodial, grounds, or maintenance operation or assisting in a journey-level trade.
