We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to execute Facilities projects for the ARC at GE Vernova. You will be responsible for estimating, scheduling, and completing Projects that will comply with all building codes and OSHA requirements.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities As a highly motivated self-starter, you will provide leadership in the development & execution of multiple construction projects that support research at the designated site.
You will work with a diverse team including engineers, peers, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), research staff, facilities management, construction/engineering contractors and a unionized work force to determine work scope, secure materials, and schedule trades to complete tasks.
You will be responsible for the overall safety & compliance within your projects. You will also be responsible for assembling a team including stakeholders, EHS rep., engineers and craftspeople to develop project requirements, cost estimates, bid specifications, materials list, estimated man-hours and construction duration.
You will: Prioritize workload, establish and meet aggressive timelines for project completionManage and execute scopes within specified budget in compliance with GE Vernova sourcing policyProvide stakeholders with regular communications including progress updates and issue resolutionBe responsible for setting clear expectations and driving accountabilityCommunicate with union representation to clearly identify business objectivesCoordinate communications between EHS, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal codes and requirementsUtilize Six Sigma methodologies to improve customer service by delivering cost effective solutions to meet stakeholder expectationsSchedule and conduct required safety meetings
Required Qualifications Education & Experience:
Must meet one of the following combinations:Bachelor's degree (technical, construction, or engineering) + 8 years of relevant experience.
Associate's degree (technical, construction, or engineering) + 10 years of relevant experience.
High School Diploma + 15 years of relevant experience.
Note:
All experience must be in mechanical and electrical construction fields, including proven ability to scope, estimate, and oversee construction projects.Industry Background:
Industrial construction and/or maintenance experience.Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of cost estimating for maintenance and construction projects.Proficiency in reading/interpreting architectural and assembly drawings.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Project Scheduling Tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Leadership:
Demonstrated project management experience and experience supervising a unionized workforce.Work Authorization & Location:

Relocation Assistance Provided:
YesFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $114,100.00 and $190,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
