The Facilities Manager is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and repair of all office and tenant properties. This position will evaluate problematic systems or properties and determine what installation or repair services are needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the general maintenance of each property. Manage third-party vendor relationships for maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and other services. Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects. Act as primary liaison for tenant concerns, requests, and issues. Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and provide documentation. Schedule and confirm required annual inspections. Respond to emergency situations for all tenant properties. Schedule and prioritize maintenance work to minimize downtime. Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and equipment documentation. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of facilities and maintenance experience required. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, minor carpentry, etc. Proven ability to manage multiple properties and vendor relationships. Proficient in English (oral and written); active listener with excellent communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications. Outstanding ability to work independently to achieve results. Must originate, plan, adapt, and invent to accomplish tasks. Strong organizational skills and attention to details. Ability to set and maintain priorities when dealing with multiple demands and interruptions. Flexibility and problem-solving mindset. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Must have a valid drivers license and pass a background check and drug screen. Must be able to lift and move objects or materials up to at least 50 lbs. Requires extensive movements such as walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and kneeling. Frequent periods of standing and working in extreme hot or cold temperatures occasionally.
