About this Position The Facilities Services Manager is a dynamic, service‑driven role that keeps the Business Building and HTM spaces running smoothly. This position leads support services , A/V and technology coordination , event setup , and building maintenance while supervising student staff and ensuring every classroom, lab, and workspace is ready for daily academic and event needs. The role also manages the computer lab, oversees space and asset inventories, and serves as the school's Health & Safety Manager —making it essential to the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of both buildings. Required Qualifications Vocational/Technical (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Two years of post-secondary education OR a vocational certificate in Facilities Management or another closely related field. Seven years of facilities management experience to include: facility space forecasting, planning, expansion, RPT process, project management and supervisory experience. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or
Knowledge:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze faculty, staff and students' requests and assist them in finding a solution. Ability to develop positive working relationships with other departments on campus particularly Facilities Management. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Business, Facilities Management or related degree Previous supervisory experience. Previous experience with facilities maintenance. Previous experience in billing, accounts payable and/or vendor relations.
