Job Description
## The group you'll be a part of The Global Warehouse Project Manager role supports significant growth in warehouse capacity across the U.S. and Asia and is part of Lam Research's Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) organization. The GWS team delivers safe, sustainable, innovative, and high-value workplace solutions that enable Lam's business objectives. This includes new construction, real estate development, space planning, and utility infrastructure planning in support of global operations. ## The impact you'll make The Facilities Coordinator is part of the on-site Occupancy Planning team, providing space planning support and management activities. The position will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and following up on work orders, communicating with business partner and vendors, soliciting quotes for services, invoice verification, and updating policies and procedures. ## What you'll do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with BU customers to provide excellent customer service
- Working with MAC planners on move schedules and timing
- Working with MAC manager and furniture vendors to develop move plans with space assignments, occupancy plans, and furniture reconfiguration requirements
- Schedules moves / new hire requests with alignment from space planning team, customer and in conformance to office space policy.
- Participates in the development and integration of space management tools, processes, standards, and policies to improve efficiencies
- Manage Conference room standards with furniture vendors
- Ability to manage small projects
- Acts as back up to other MAC coordinators
- Validation of Inventory Management with furniture vendor, and ordering of replacement furniture as needed
- Additional responsibilities as needed ## Who we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience in a related discipline (i.e. architecture, interior design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management planning/coordination, facilities, project or construction management etc.), or 3 years' experience with a Masters, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Move Management and Furniture Project Management.
- Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of Space Planning/Management
- Strong spatial skills with experience in the implementation of workplace strategies and the ability to translate business requirements into space requirements for the business units
- Basic knowledge of building codes; ability to inspect and determine the feasibility of renovation of existing structures; knowledge of related state and federal regulations and statutes
- General knowledge of system furniture design and modular furniture while demonstrating knowledge and adherence to building regulations and health safety guidelines
