Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Facilities, the Facilities Coordinator will perform project and support duties, as needed, to ensure the professional and smooth operation of the Facilities Department. This is an administrative position with some knowledge of field conditions. About theRole:
BrightPath Kids is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized CapEx Facilities Coordinator to provide administrative and coordination support for capital improvement projects across our centers. This role is focused on keeping projects, vendors, and documentation on track—not leading large-scale project management. The ideal candidate thrives on organization, communication, and follow-through, ensuring the Facilities Department runs smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
Act as the central point of contact for incoming capital project requests (emails, surveys, maintenance staff). Support Facilities leadership in validating project needs with Operations teams (Area Directors and Center Directors). Assist with vendor sourcing by gathering and organizing reviews, references, and documentation. Coordinate communications between vendors, contractors, and center staff to ensure clarity and alignment. Maintain scheduling calendars and track progress to minimize disruption to center operations. Prepare, review, and track Purchase Orders (POs); ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting. Support Accounts Payable by verifying invoices and processing approvals for timely payment. Keep project files, budgets, and reports organized and up to date for supervisor review. Provide administrative support for emergency or day-to-day facilities needs as required.Qualifications:
Administrative or coordination experience in facilities, construction, property management, or related fields preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail. Professional, approachable, and adaptable both in person and on the phone. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with purchase order or project tracking systems a plus. Basic understanding of facilities or capital improvement processes helpful but not required. Why Join BrightPath?
