Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Facilities Assistant to support the day-to-day upkeep of our facility and grounds. This position is responsible for general cleaning and janitorial duties, lawn maintenance, running company errands, and performing minor maintenance tasks to help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work independently while handling a variety of responsibilities. Duties Perform routine janitorial and custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal. Perform basic lawn maintenance and groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, and keeping outdoor areas neat and safe. Assist with facility setup, organization, and general upkeep. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Respond promptly to maintenance and facility-related requests. Support special projects and other duties as assigned. Maintain cleanliness and organization of offices, restrooms, break areas, and common spaces. Run company-related errands, including picking up supplies, delivering materials, and other assigned tasks. Perform minor maintenance and repair work, such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, tightening fixtures, and basic troubleshooting. Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, maintenance, or general labor experience preferred. Experience with basic lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and minor repair techniques. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
