Manager, Engineering (8a-5p) Facilities Operations & Support - Johnson City, TN

Job Description:

Summary:

This position requires a working knowledge of capital and operational budget planning and management processes. A practical knowledge of facility management functions to include; scheduling, FTE management, policy and procedures, predictive and preventive maintenance management processes and procedures (CMMS) is required. Knowledge and understanding of educational, practical and operational knowledge of JCAHO, NFPA, NEC, state and local codes and standards is required at a minimum. Must have experience in all phases of minor construction/renovation processes to Include; bidding and project management activities. Must be safety focused. Excellent people and verbal skills are required to lead a team of technical and support professionals.

Requirements:

Requires highschool diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred with maintenance/plant operations certifications in HVAC, electrical or plumbing. Position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in a management or supervisory role.
