Job Description
Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated and organized Fleet and Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our shop and fleet management. This role is essential in ensuring that our facility remains clean, organized, and well-stocked, while effectively managing crews and maintaining all equipment and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Shop Maintenance:
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
- Implement and uphold cleanliness standards and best practices.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials and supplies.
- Order and restock items as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Crew Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of crews upon their return to the shop.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure smooth operations.
Plant Care:
- Oversee the watering and maintenance of all plant materials in the plant lot.
- Monitor the health and growth of plants and address any issues promptly.
Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance:
- Develop and implement a routine maintenance schedule for all equipment and vehicles.
- Track maintenance records and ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all operations adhere to safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facility management, fleet management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
Work Environment:
- This position requires a hands-on approach and may involve working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Pay:
$55,000.00- $65,000.
