Full Job Description Overview:
The Facilities Project Coordinator plans and oversees all common area projects for the community and reports to the Chief of Facilities. The Facilities Project Coordinator provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and perform with Chief of Facilities inspections of the common area.. Plan and implement projects for the associations common areas Assists to identify project scope, goals and deliverables with management and professional experts Define tasks and required resources with the Property Manager Responsible for managing the project with the vendor Create a schedule and project timeline, and track deliverables of the project. Support and direct team and vendors on projects Responsible for scheduling quality assurance walks with Property Owner Rep and Vendor Contact Monitor and report on project progress weekly with management and present problems and solutions Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs Evaluate and assess result of project Maintain complete and current files for all projects Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing duties by the vendor. Any other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience 3+ years of business experience preferred, including project management experience Position may require valid Driver's License. Skills in financial planning and tracking of funds for project. Intermediate command of computer hardware/software, specifically Microsoft Office Suite. Skills and Abilities Excellent project management skills including the use of different project management methodologies. Excellent planning and coordination skills. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve and address problems. Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work under tight deadlines and use time effectively based on key priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Physical requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to work under pressure, maintain composure and utilize good judgement during emergency/difficult and stressful situations. Ability to lift 50lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
Ability to:
work in an upright standing position for long periods of time work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain). Walk and climb stairs. Extensive use of fingers for typing and visual use of the computer monitor. Handle, grasp, feel objects and equipment. Reach with hands and arms. Ability to quickly and easily navigate property/buildings are required to meet the job functions. Repeat various motions with wrists, hands and fingers. Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above ground level. Ability to hear, understand and respond appropriately to verbal requests made in person and over the telephone. Visual ability correctable to 20/20. Ability to respond verbally in an understandable, professional manner in person and over the telephone. Ability to stoop and bend. May be required to travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis. May be occasionally required to cover for staff at other communities within a reasonable commuting distance if needed. Ability to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
