Creative Empowerment- Maintain safe, clean and well-prepared athletic facilities that create an exceptional environment for student-athletes, coaches and guests.
- Regularly inspect and maintain Warrior Field athletic fields and facilities.
- Prepare fields for practices, games and events, including goals, nets and other equipment setup.
- Provide water and ice for teams and ensure athletic equipment is prepared and in working order.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, restrooms, storage areas, bleachers and other Warrior Field spaces.
- Oversee the setup and takedown of equipment for athletic events and ensure proper storage after use.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and promptly address hazards or maintenance needs.
- Manage inventory of field maintenance supplies, equipment and materials, ordering replacements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs and equipment usage. Comprehensive Personalization
- Support the athletic development of middle school student-athletes through age-appropriate instruction, encouragement and mentorship..
- Coach one or more middle school sports teams as needed each season.
- Plan and execute practices focused on skill development, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.
- Evaluate student-athletes and develop appropriate game strategies, lineups and positions.
- Provide instruction and encouragement that supports the individual growth and development of student-athletes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and respectful team environment aligned with FBA's mission and values. Collective Collaboration
- Work effectively with coaches, school leadership and staff to support the daily operations of Warrior Field and the success of the Warrior Athletics program.
- Coordinate with the athletic director and assistant athletic director regarding facility needs, safety concerns, athletic events and field preparation.
- Collaborate with coaches and school staff to ensure facilities and equipment are prepared for practices, games and events.
- Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, coaches and school staff regarding schedules, expectations and team progress.
- Respond to the direction of the athletic director and other personnel with delegated authority.
- Attend faculty meetings and actively engage in student life and the greater FBA community. Supportive Guidance
- Promote the safety, character and well-being of student-athletes while modeling Christ-centered leadership on and off the field.
- Serve as a mentor and positive role model to student-athletes, promoting character development, academic achievement and sportsmanship.
- Encourage student-athletes to recognize and develop their God-given gifts.
- Maintain active supervision of students to support their safety, conduct and well-being.
- Promote responsible care and use of athletic facilities, buildings and equipment.
- Demonstrate patience, encouragement and Christ-like character when working with middle school students. Continuous Professional Growth
- Pursue ongoing development in facilities management, field maintenance, coaching and athletic best practices.
- Actively pursue professional development in coaching, teaching movement skills and athletic field maintenance.
- Participate in coaching clinics, workshops and other professional development opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of safety standards, equipment operation and athletic facility best practices.
- Adhere to the Faculty and Staff Handbook.
