Are you an experienced facilities leader who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly, developing strong teams, and creating a safe, well-maintained environment? Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Texas is seeking an Assistant Director of Facilities Services to support the daily operations of our Facilities and Food Services departments. In this role, you'll work closely with the Director of Facilities Services to oversee staff, scheduling, training, contractors, quality of work, safety, and regulatory compliance. You'll play an important part in ensuring our campus remains safe, sanitary, comfortable, and operational for the children we serve and the employees who support them. What You'll Do Support the Facilities Director in the day-to-day operation of Facilities and Food Services Supervise, coach, train, and provide ongoing feedback to department employees Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate departmental coverage Monitor the quality and completion of work performed by employees and outside contractors Help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-functioning physical environment Identify facility and safety concerns and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken Support departmental compliance with OSHA, NFPA, accreditation, licensing, and organizational requirements Assist with emergency preparedness, safety procedures, risk management, and infection-control practices Participate in regulatory and accreditation surveys and address areas of non-compliance Support departmental budgets and responsible use of financial and human resources Identify opportunities to improve departmental processes, quality, efficiency, and service delivery Promote strong communication and teamwork within the department and across the organization Help ensure employees receive required training and understand departmental expectations, policies, and procedures #Sponsored Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Diploma required Proficient computer skills Valid driver's license that can be maintained throughout employment Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience managing facilities operations and supervising staff 1-2 years of facility safety experience preferred Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and Joint Commission codes and standards related to facilities preferred Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
