Job Description

FACILITY MANAGER
Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping facilities looking their best? Do you have experience with painting, basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and general facility upkeep? If so, we want YOU to join our team as a Facility Manager with LA Fitness/Club Studio! The Facility Manager plays an important role in maintaining the appearance, functionality, cleanliness, and overall member experience of our clubs. This position travels between multiple locations throughout the DFW area, completing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring our facilities consistently meet company standards. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with typical hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. What We Are Looking For As a Facility Manager, you will take ownership of maintenance and repair needs across multiple clubs. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple projects and priorities. You should have a strong attention to detail and take pride in leaving every facility better than you found it. Day in the Life of a Facility Manager Maintenance & Repairs
  • Complete service requests and perform general repairs throughout our clubs, including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, fixtures, and other facility-related projects. Painting & Facility Appearance
  • Prepare, repair, and paint walls and other surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, and removing old or damaged paint as needed. Preventative Maintenance
  • Identify potential facility issues before they become larger problems and proactively make improvements, including installing corner guards and other protective or preventative solutions. Plumbing & Electrical
  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, ballasts, toilets, shower heads, fixtures, and similar components. Facility Standards
  • Help maintain clean, safe, functional, and professional-looking facilities that meet LA Fitness/Club Studio standards. Equipment & Tools
  • Safely and effectively operate the tools and equipment necessary to maintain and repair our clubs, including painting equipment, ladders, and lifts. Service Requests
  • Prioritize and complete assigned maintenance requests efficiently while communicating progress and identifying additional repairs that may be needed.
Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age General maintenance and repair experience Painting and surface-preparation experience Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, painting equipment, ladders, and lifts Sufficient physical ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests Dependable, professional, and self-motivated Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple club locations Travel expenses are paid according to company policy when traveling more than 50 miles or when an overnight stay is required.
