Position Summary:
PSA is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and long-term management of our four facilities. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing the Facilities team, maintenance operations, vendors, building systems, safety, budgets, and facility improvement projects. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and practical problem-solver who can set priorities, manage people and projects, resolve facility issues, and ensure our buildings are safe, clean, reliable, and ready for our customers and programs. While leadership and management are the primary responsibilities, this is also a working management position. The Facilities Manager will participate in troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, projects, and emergency response as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, coach, and develop Facilities Department employees. Direct preventive, corrective, routine, and emergency maintenance across four facilities. Prioritize work orders and maintenance based on safety, urgency, operational impact, and available resources. Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, life-safety, security, sports facility, and other building systems. Manage the CMMS/work-order system and preventive maintenance programs. Conduct facility inspections and ensure facilities remain safe, clean, functional, and customer ready. Manage contractors, vendors, service agreements, and outside specialists. Plan and oversee facility repairs, renovations, improvements, and capital projects. Develop and manage the Facilities Department budget and monitor spending. Promote safe work practices and support compliance with OSHA, fire/building codes, accessibility requirements, and other applicable regulations. Coordinate facility readiness for leagues, tournaments, camps, special events, and other high-traffic activities. Respond to significant facility emergencies, including occasional after-hours needs. Qualifications 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in facilities, commercial building maintenance, construction, property management, or a related field. 3+ years of supervisory or facilities leadership experience. Experience managing employees, contractors, vendors, budgets, and facility projects. Experience supporting multiple buildings or locations strongly preferred. Broad practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, and life-safety systems. Strong leadership, organization, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability and willingness to participate in hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting when appropriate. Experience with a CMMS/work-order system preferred. Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred but not required. Equivalent education, certifications, trade experience, and leadership experience will be considered. Schedule & Work Environment This is a full-time, onsite position supporting PSA's four facilities. Because PSA operates youth sports programs during evenings and weekends, scheduling flexibility is required to support programs, tournaments, special events, projects, and facility emergencies. The position requires regular travel between PSA facilities and may involve working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, storage areas, sports areas, parking lots, and other facility environments. Why Join PSA? Facilities at PSA are more than buildings—they are where children learn, compete, build friendships, and develop a lifelong connection to sports. As Facilities Manager, you will have a direct impact on that experience while leading a team and improving four active community facilities.
