Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for managing maintenance teams, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are functioning optimally. Your leadership will help create a safe, well-maintained environment that supports our organization's goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in facilities management, and passionate about maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across all mechanical and electrical systems. Manage facilities maintenance procedures including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance tasks. Oversee the management of mechanical systems repair and ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels. Read schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues with HVAC, electrical systems, or mechanical equipment. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training sessions for team members on safety regulations and emergency procedures. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs using project management best practices to ensure timely completion. Qualifications Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems repair, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and troubleshooting using tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safety regulations applicable to industrial or commercial facilities. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining team motivation. Strong communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
