Formulates and puts into effect sustainable operations and maintenance plans, to include economical space and work management operations policies, criteria, and procedures. Develops, evaluates, and implements immediate and long-range goals, objectives, budget projections, plans and schedules to meet substantial changes in program authority and/or funding. Assignments include tasks related to the museum building, amphitheater, parade field, Army trail and grounds operations, maintenance and utilization. Assures facilities and their operations comply with laws and regulations. Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative on engineering, maintenance, and service contracts. Requirements Conditions of employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Maintain and/or obtain Top Secret Security Clearance. This position is covered by the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program. This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R. This position has been designated Mission Essential.

Specialized Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Managing facility operations and maintenance programs for a large organization; 2) Developing and implementing plans, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient use and upkeep of buildings and grounds; 3) Overseeing facility contracts and coordinating with contractors to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with requirements; 4) Planning and executing facility projects, including renovations and repairs, to support organizational needs; AND 5) Monitoring facility safety, security, and environmental compliance. Grade Requirement:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
